The Christchurch Liedertafel Male Voice Choir has long held a tradition of offering members of the public the opportunity to join as subscribing members.
For the choir, this loyal subscriber base provides a guaranteed audience at each concert, so it’s good for the choir.
By paying an annual fee that is set from time-to-time, subscribers automatically gain a substantial discount off the standard ticket price that is paid by members of the public. Although the discount is not fixed, it generally means that subscribers pay for 2 concerts and get a third for free. Of course, if the single ticket price increases, the subscribers don’t have to pay any more so it’s a good deal for subscribers too!
